PUPIL PREMIUM

The PPG (Pupil Premium Grant) is money provided to schools by the government to focus on:

  • raising the attainment of disadvantaged pupils and closing the gap with their peers

  • supporting children and young people with parents in the regular armed forces

FOREVER 6 FSM
Schools receive Pupil Premium funding to support the learning of pupils who are entitled to FSM (Free School Meals). This funding continues for a further 6 years, even if the child is no longer entitled to receive free school meals.

 

DISADVANTAGED CHILDREN 
  • Pupils in year groups reception to year 6 recorded as Forever 6 FSM    

  • Children who have ceased to be looked after by a local authority in England and Wales because of adoption, a special guardianship order, a child arrangements order or a residence order.

 

SERVICE CHILDREN 
  • Pupils in year groups reception to year 11 recorded as Ever 5 Service               £300

  • Child in receipt of a child pension from the Ministry of Defence                      £300
